Eltec maintains a primary focus on quality products and service. To ensure a continuous level of high standard, the company founder Istvan Domeny introduced the phrase “zero mistakes” in the late 90’s, when it promptly became the organization’s motto. Since inception, Eltec conducts regular employee training and quality control and makes these procedures an essential part of its operations. This focus has helped to elevate the company’s performance level throughout the years and obtain the “A list” supplier status, 0 PPM counts for selected clients, as well as a list of quality certifications.

Eltec was founded in Budapest, Hungary by Istvan Dömeny, a Hungarian-born entrepreneur who spent the previous 15 years in the automotive supplier industry in Germany.
The firm received its VDA 6, ISO 9001, ISO 9002, and QS 9000 certifications, and started delivering to its first client in the German automotive supplier industry. Eltec then expanded to the commercial vehicle, medical device, and home appliance sectors.
The company obtained its ISO/TS 1694 and EN 9100 certifications, started supplying the computer industry, and launched its first apprenticeship program with the German-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce.
Eltec received the ISO 14001 certification, became a preferred partner for a global tier 1 automotive supplier, and added the heavy machinery industry to its portfolio
Superbrand Hungary recognized Eltec as one of the best companies operating in Hungary. The firm started supplying the aerospace industry, and achieves preferred supplier status for another tier 1 global client.
Eltec was 1 of 5 companies to participate in the Industry 4.0 Sample Factory project which was led by the Hungarian Ministry of Economic Development. The participants were deemed exemplary model factories whose capabilities were showcased to Hungarian firms that aspired to advance in smart manufacturing. In 2018 and 2019, Eltec held 33 demonstrations and hosted nearly 100 companies to which it presented its Industry 4.0 classification capabilities. The firm also expanded its services to supply cable sets to the railway industry.
