At Eltec, we’d like to think that we are one of such companies that lead the way to a sustainable future. In 2006, we met the internationally recognized standard ISO 14001 for environmental management systems. It provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve their environmental performance. By adhering to this standard, organizations can ensure they are taking proactive measures to minimize their environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve their environmental objectives. The framework encompasses various aspects, from resource usage and waste management to monitoring environmental performance and involving stakeholders in environmental commitments.

In 2023, our company has changed its energy portfolio and put into operation a 50kW solar power system and a 400kW heat pump, which together cut approximately 2 Mega Joules of energy and 310 tons of CO2 emissions per year. With this investment, we are doing our part to reduce the planet’s carbon footprint.
